Susan Hampshire

Susan is a true show biz vet, making her first screen appearance in 1947, when she was just ten years old. It would be more than a decade before she returned to film, but she's been working nearly non stop ever since, with TV credits including Katy, The Pallisers, and Don't Tell Father. In 1995, she received an OBE for her philanthropic work for the dyslexia cause, and has written a memoir about her own struggle with the disorder. In 2000 she returned to TV screens in the popular Highland-based series Monarch Of The Glen.
