Leonor poses for the cameras on Lanzarote

The most recent addition to Spain's royal family, two-month-old Leonor, delighted fans on Tuesday by making her second official public appearance. The little girl opened her eyes for the waiting cameras when her parents, Crown Prince Felipe and Crown Princess Leitizia, carried her out into bright sunshine at the royal residence of La Mareta, on the island of Lanzarote, where they'd been spending Christmas.

This was Leonor's first trip outside Madrid, where she was born on October 31. Since the first photo shoot, when she and her mother left the hospital on November 7, she hasn't been seen except for a brief glimpse when the family went shopping in early December.

Wrapped up in jeans and a cream knitted jacket with burgundy trim, Leonor was cuddled by both her casually-dressed parents during the photo session. The popular prince explained that the threesome would be returning to Madrid later this week to spend New Year with his parents, King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia.
