Pregnant Mary fulfils royal duties on Brussels trip

A glowing Princess Mary joined her husband Prince Frederik of Denmark in Brussels this week, showing no signs of the morning sickness that apparently plagued her on a trip to Russia early on in her pregnancy.

The popular royal couple, who late last month announced they were expecting their second child, both donned business-style suits for their visit to the EU Headquarters. A spokeswoman for the stylish 34-year-old, who is three months pregnant, has said the crown princess will "continue to fulfil her official duties as long as possible".

Later this month the couple are due to make a private trip to Mary's native Australia to visit her family in Tasmania. It will probably be the princess' only chance to make the long journey before the new baby arrives in early May.

She is expected to give birth at Copenhagen's Rigshospitalet, where the royal pair's son Christian was born last October.
