First images of Sweden's adorable Princess Estelle released
27 FEBRUARY 2012
Snoozing blissfully and wearing a white cardigan knitted by her maternal great-grandmother Alice, Sweden's future queen looks the picture of a contented little baby.
Estelle Silvia Eva Mary, Duchess of Ostgotland, to give the little girl her full title, has a light sprinkling of black hair and a cute button nose – leading some to see a resemblance with
Crown Princess Victoria
The new mum and her husband
Daniel do not appear in the cute images released by the royal household.

Victoria hasn't been seen since a photo of her
leaving the hospital was posted to Facebook.
There's no doubt that the couple are overjoyed, though. Daniel admitted to be overwhelmed after
the birth, admitting that his feelings "were all over the place".
While his wife stayed out of sight at their home
Haga Palace, the prince took part in celebrations marking the arrival of the country's first royal baby in three decades.

Accompanied by the proud grand parents, King
Carl Gustaf and
Queen Silvia, he attended a Te Deum – a service of thanksgiving in the royal chapel on Friday.
Meanwhile, outside the Royal Palace in Stockholm, a line of well-wishers waiting to sign a book of congratulations for the couple snaked arond the block.
