Charlotte flies all the way to Canada to support her new man

It's the clearest sign yet that the relationship between Charlotte Casiraghi and actor Gad Elmaleh is getting serious.

The glamorous young Monegasque royal flew all the way to Canada to support her beau at the unveiling of his film The Capital at the Toronto Film Festival.

Charlotte was chic and sophisticated in a tuxedo jacket and shorts combo which she wore with a loose white top with drawstring detailing.

Though she didn't pose with him on the red carpet, the brunette beauty met up with the 41-year-old actor inside the event.

Gad plays a rookie CEO in financial thriller The Capital, which also stars Gabriel Byrne.

Charlotte, 26, started dating the charismatic Frenchman in January after she ended a long-term relationship with British gallery owner Alex Dellal, who many had thought she would eventually marry.

Earlier this summer Gad, who is of Moroccan descent, joined his girlfriend on a cruise with her mum and family, showing Princess Caroline has accepted the romance.

He is well known in his native France for starring in films such as Hors de Prix, a comedy with Audrey Tautou, a sort of Pretty Woman for the Noughties. 

Gad has also appeared in international movies such as Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris.
