Prince Harry and Princess Eugeniewere spotted heading into their friend Charlie Gilkes' wedding in Italy on Friday.The young Prince wore sunglasses and a smart black suit, with a pale blue tie, while Eugenie, who has taken a break from working in New York City to celebrate the nuptials, wore a bright red orange dress, and was joined by her boyfriend Jack Brooksbank.
Among the high-profile guests who touched down in Italy for the wedding of Charlie Gilkes and Anneke von Trotha Taylor were Pippa Middleton and her mother Carole Middleton.Pippa wore a bright pink and purple maxi dress, designed by acclaimed designer and entrepreneur Tabitha Webb, as she arrived at the ceremony. She was joined by her boyfriend Nico Jackson, and Donna Air, girlfriend of Pippa's brother, James.
The event is a family event for the Middletons: Pippa is a former flame of Charlie's from their time at Edinburgh University, and Michael Middleton also accompanied his wife, son and daughter.
Pippa's sister the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton , was also invited to the wedding with Prince William although given that the Duchess is suffering from acute morning sickness and Prince William is travelling to Malta this weekend, the couple are not expected to attend.
The society nuptials took place at the Castle of Monopoli and although few details are known about the actual ceremony, it's thought the celebrations will be lavish as the couple are known for their extravagant parties.
The groom, who knows Prince Harry from their days at Eton, owns several London restaurants and nightclubs and is the man behind venues including Bunga Bunga and Mr Fogg's, while his wife-to-be Anneke works in PR. Eugenie is also well connected to Charlie - his brother Alexander is one of the co-founders behind Paddle8, the online auction company she works for in New York.
