Princess Beatrice turns trader for the day to support mother's charity

Princess Beatrice hit the trading floor on Thursday morning to participate in a fundraising event for Children in Crisis.The 26-year-old royal was attending the annual Bloomberg Tradebook Charity Day in the firm's London office – a one-day venture that raises money for various causes.Looking her usual elegant self, Beatrice donned a royal purple dress and gave a nod to her mum's charity by proudly wearing its yellow sticker.

Princess Beatrice manned the phones to raise money for Children in Crisis

Sarah, Duchess of York founded the children's charity in 1993. According to its website, Children in Crisis aims to educate youngsters in some of the world's poorest countries, supporting them in learning how to read, write, pursue goals and contribute to their communities positively.

Beatrice proved a hit with the London traders as she manned the phones and sealed deals with their clients. The Princess was guided and encouraged by office employees, who showcased an impressive range of fancy dress costumes.

The royal was joined by other famous faces including Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, 18, and presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy.Commissions made from the day's trades would be donated to Beatrice's chosen charity among others supported by her fellow stars.Bloomberg Tradebook and Children in Crisis both thanked Beatrice on Twitter and shared photos of the royal in the office, flanked by the Halloween-dressed traders.

Last month The Queen's granddaughter took part in the annual BGC Global Charity Day, where she again took to the trading floor.This time, Beatrice was raising money for Elephant Family – the wildlife foundation that was chaired by Mark Shand, the Duchess of Cornwall's late brother.
