It's no secret that Princess Anne adores her beautiful grandchildren.

The Princess Royal, 73, is the doting grandmother to her daughter Zara and her husband Mike Tindall's three children Mia, ten, Lena, five, and Lucas, three, as well as her son Peter Phillip's beloved daughters, Savannah, 13, and Isla, 12, whom he shares with his ex-wife Autumn Phillips.

Peter shared some insight into what his mother Anne is like as a grandmother, in the 2020 ITV documentary, Anne: The Princess Royal at 70.

The businessman said: "She loves seeing them ride [horses], she loves having them round for Sunday lunches and taking them for walks. Doing all the things that we would do as kids."

Meanwhile, Zara joked: "We quite like leaving them on Sundays. We'll say, 'We'll pick them up later, bye.'"
