In search of inspiration for her latest album, Christina Aguilera has journeyed to India.
The pop siren, who's currently sporting a glamorous blonde 'do, briefly met with fans at a Mumbai hotel before heading off to the exclusive resort of Sahara Lake City, a specially constructed hill-top community on the outskirts of the city.
A private helicopter delivered her to the luxurious destination, which is India’s first planned hill city, boasting a ground-breaking environmental management system. The opulent retreat includes four man-made lakes set in 235 acres of land, as well as golf courses and several nightclubs.
"India has always captured my imagination with its myriad cultures and spiritualism," said the glamorous visitor. "I'm very glad to come here - it is a beautiful country and I'm enjoying every bit of it."
R&R may not be the only thing on Christina's mind while she enjoys the breathtaking views. She is reportedly planning to incorporate Indian music into her next album. There is also speculation the Dirrty singer will round out her trip by making a guest appearance in a Bollywood movie.
