Elle all smiles as she takes time out Down Under

Elle Macpherson seems to have regained the spring in her step following last year's split with the father of her two sons Arpad Busson.

The media in her native Australia is abuzz with reports of a romance that Elle is said to be enjoying with a new man. The leggy supermodel has been pictured in Sydney sharing romantic dinners with man-about-town David Evans.

The handsome restaurateur is a regular on the city's social circuit, while his exclusive eateries and clubs are favoured haunts with celebs such as Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts.

His friendship with the model dates back to the Sydney Olympics, but things only hotted up in December when a newly single Elle was Down Under and they spent time together in the millionaire hangout of Palm Beach.

Elle was certainly in high spirits over the weekend when she took in the sights at a famous Sydney amusement park with her eight-year-old son Flynn. After going for a boat ride at Luna Park the model mum ended up with an armful of toys which may have been gifts for Flynn's three-year-old brother Aurelius Cy.

Although the 41-year-old beauty has long been a London resident, she often finds herself back in Australia's most happening city. One of the most culturally diverse places on the planet, the New South Wales capital is packed with lots to do, from world class restaurants to trendy clubs.

Aside from the harbour, which is home to the renowned Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, tourists are drawn to its spectacular beaches, with their inviting, turquoise waters and opportunities for surfing.

And when visitors are done with the outdoor life there's always the popular Darling Harbour waterfront, where dedicated shoppers can exercise their gold cards.
