Rap’s biggest star Sean “P Diddy” Combs has proven there are no bad feelings between him and Jennifer Lopez by wishing his former girlfriend all the best in her upcoming nuptials to Ben Affleck. “I hope it works out,” he said, adding “marriage is a beautiful thing.”
The Bronx-born singer-actress split from Combs last year during his trial on weapons charges and for bribery. Lopez later said they might get back together, but hopes of a reunion were quashed when she announced her engagement to Ben Affleck earlier this week.
Hip-hop’s leading star offered his words of support at a press conference in Barcelona where he is to present the MTV Europe Music Awards on Thursday. Although dressed immaculately, Rap’s king of style made a slip in his usually faultless presentation. After arriving an hour late because he couldn’t decide what to wear, the music empresario was discovered to have left the price tag on the sole of his shoe.
A stickler for detail, P Diddy recently demanded that guests invited to a party he was throwing “get a pedicure, manicure and have fresh breath.” He failed to live up to the same exacting standards himself, however, when journalists spotted the £213 price tag on his footwear.
Combs was also in the headlines this week with the news that curvaceous model Alicia Douvall has suffered a miscarriage, losing the baby she claimed was his. The 23-year-old blonde says she got it together with the rapper at a party over the summer.
