Ronan Keating has been showing his feminine side while model Jodie Kidd has proven that she's just one of the boys.

The former Boyzone star has unveiled a dramatic change of image for a new advertising campaign, which suggests he could give Lily Savage a run for her money. Clad in a blonde wig and scarlet evening gown, the Irish singer has become the camp new face of Heineken.

Looking rather less feminine is the normally angelic Jodie, whose gangster makeover would do more to intimidate than to charm. Her fearsome new look would be more at home in a Guy Ritchie flick than on the catwalk.

Other celebs taking part in the campaign include Zoe Ball, Craig David and Aussie songstress Holly Valance. Top photographer Rankin was behind the pictures, which are being used to launch "genuine Heineken" in Britain.

Until now a specially-brewed weaker version of the beer has been sold in the UK. Bosses at the company say the growing popularity of stronger beers in Britain suggests consumers are ready for the standard European lager, however.
