Al Roker came in on Monday morning in a cheeky mood — but he blames his notes.
On the Monday, September 21 installment of TODAY, the 3rd Hour anchor left his fellow co-hosts Dylan Dreyer and Craig Melvin in stitches as he called veteran Dateline host Keith Morrison "daddy."
The beloved weatherman explained that his notes indicated that many Dateline fans referred to the fellow NBC journalist as "Dateline daddy," which left the latter at a loss for words.
His Dateline co-hosts Andrea Canning, Blayne Alexander, Josh Mankiewicz, and Lester Holt were similarly cracking up, with Andrea suggesting Al had come up with "Dateline daddy" himself.
