Elizabeth Hurley is aiming to bring a feline presence to beaches around the world with her latest collection of swimwear for children. The mum-of-one unveiled the new range, which features leopard-print designs, at Harrods department store in London on Wednesday.

A shapely blonde model was drafted in to show off one of her sexy bikinis, but the Austin Powers star also got some help from some of her younger fans.

Six-year-old Hanaya Merlet was sporting one of her girls' all-in-ones, while eight-year-old Blake Forest had donned a frilly two-piece.

The youngest mannequin to take part in the presentation was three-year-old Pebble Adams, who was wearing a hooded kaftan.

The woman at the centre of everyone's attention opted for a leopard-print top and white trousers, rather than modelling one of the creations herself. But bosses at London's favourite department store are confident her new range for children will prove just as successful as her adult line. "Not content with dressing movie stars, models and yummy mummy's, Elizabeth is introducing beach clothes for girls," said a Harrods spokesman.
