Billy Ray Cyrus stunned fans on Tuesday when he showcased his brand-new hairstyle, which was incredibly similar to the mullet he used to rock years earlier. The 65-year-old took to social media to share a photo of himself sitting in his office with his hair pulled back by a thin headband.

His brunette tresses fell into a mullet style, and he completed the look with aviator sunglasses. "Wanted to do something productive this morning since Tuesday feels like a Monday going on Wednesday. Made a new mullet," Billy Ray wrote in the caption.

"I call it. TRI CITY ALVAREZ WITH WILLIE IN THE BACK," he added, referring to Willie Nelson's album cover, which sat in the background and featured the legendary singer's mullet.

Billy Ray's fans couldn't get enough of his hairstyle and took to the comment section to share the love. "THE PARTY'S IN THE BACK!" wrote one fan, while another added: "I'm glad we have the mullet back." A third chimed in: "Looking so good!" while another said: "Suits you to the hilt!"

The "Achy Breaky Heart" singer has cycled through his fair share of bold hairstyles, including his famous mullet throughout the '90s, and his highlighted blonde locks while starring in Hannah Montana.

Billy Ray's girlfriend, British star Elizabeth Hurley, revealed in 2025 that she often cuts his hair to keep the tresses neat and maintained.

"I cut his hair the other day. We do have a lot of hair between us," she told The Times. "We're in constant danger of choking on hairballs. He has got very fuzzy hair. Before his is done, it's out here."

"So we've actually got contrast hair, which we aim to make look the same in the end," she added.

The duo announced their unlikely relationship in April 2025, and while she lives in England and he lives in Tennessee, they visit each other as often as possible. "We split our time between Billy's farm in Tennessee and my country house in England, with brief forays into Nashville and London," Elizabeth told People.

"We both love the countryside, where I'm usually wielding power tools in the garden whilst Billy strums his guitar under a tree. We obsessively watch birds of prey and light lots of bonfires. It's bliss."

Billy added: "There was something in the opposites of us, I think, that maybe not only got other people's attention but even our own."

"And I've never seen anybody that, in some ways, has more in common with the insanity that I have lived through in this crazy show business. Then mix in other personal, good things and tragedies – she's like me."

Billy Ray was previously married to Tish Cyrus from 1993 to 2022, and welcomed kids Miley, Braison and Noah with her. After their split, he married Australian actress Firerose in 2023, but their romance came crashing down a year later.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth dated Hugh Grant for 13 years until they split in 2000, and she then welcomed her son, Damian, with Steve Bing in 2002. She married Indian textile heir Arun Nayar in 2002, and they stayed together until 2011, after which she was involved with Australian cricket star Shane Warne for two years.
