If there was any doubt about the Beckham family's growing popularity stateside, it was firmly laid to rest when Victoria was greeted by a swarm of photographers as she touched down in LA on Saturday.
The former Spice Girl, whose husband David has just signed a £130-million deal with the LA Galaxy football team, flew in to search for a new home and investigate potential schools for their children. According to local media reports, the 32-year-old stylish mum-of-three was also planning to meet up with Jennifer Lopez to discuss expanding her fashion commitments.
J Lo, who previously starred alongside David in a Pepsi commerical, is familiar with America's rag trade as she already has her own label. And the Bronx-born star is obviously pleased Becks and his family are on their way, as she has also snapped up a season ticket for his new club.
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are meanwhile said to be helping their British pals with the move, while business mogul Donald Trump has predicted Becks will be a huge success in the US. "He's going to do great in LA," said the media-friendly tycoon. "He's a smart guy - he's got the package."
