They spent last Valentine's Day apart, so there's even more interest than usual in what David and Victoria Beckham have planned for this February 14. Word has it the British footie ace is determined to avoid a repeat of last year.
Becks is apparently keen his wife reschedule a Friday flight to New York - where she plans to attend the city's fashion week - so they can spend the traditionally romantic day together in Milan. He's based in the Italian city while on loan to AC Milan from his US team LA Galaxy.
"If she accepts his invitation he's planning a romantic candlelit dinner with a room full of red roses on Saturday night," a pal tells the Daily Express, adding: "He has been having top-secret discussions with a number of Italian jewellery designers over the perfect present."
