Britney's done it, as have the Spice Girls and of course his bandmates Take That. Now Robbie Williams is hoping for his own glittering musical comeback, after unveiling his first single since 2007. The cheeky-faced singer admitted he was at a pivotal point in his career with the October 11 release of Bodies and his new album Reality Killed The Video Star, out on November 9. "What it means to me is that I'm at a turning point in my career," said Robbie, who gave the new track its first play on BBC Radio 1 on Friday morning. "This next record decides my path," continued the star, who revealed he was "a bit scared" about the release of the new disc. It will be his first since 2006 effort Rudebox, which was given lukewarm reviews and was his lowest-selling solo album. With its electro pop bass and emotive chorus, new track Bodies is sure to be a firm fixture on radio playlists and is already being hailed as a certain chart hit by commentators. Other songs on the album include Starstruck, which is about today's modern fame epidemic, and closing track Won't Do That To You, which Robbie describes as "my very first love song". That was no doubt written for his girlfriend of two years, US actress Aida Field. The former bad boy of pop is smitten with the pretty brunette, and for the first time this week the 35-year-old revealed his thoughts are turning to marriage and having children. "Something beautiful has indeed come my way and she's amazing," he said of Aida during an interview with a Manchester radio station on Friday. "I wasn't even going to be in a relationship as far as I could see and then… somebody special comes along and changes all of that."
