Kristen's joie de vivre was unmistakable as she attended an event for Breaking Dawn: Part 2 in Japan. The 22-year-old showed off her enviable legs in a checkered jump suit by Louis Vuitton. Meanwhile, going solo in Australia, Rob seemed happy and relaxed as he chatted to fans and helped take pictures of himself on their camera phones.
Kristen seemed to be alluding to the fact that things were getting better in a recent interview with Mexican magazine 15 a 20. She said: "You have to be OK with your own fears. If you're an honest person you'll make mistakes, but it'll be OK. The most interesting things happen after making mistakes."
The pair are currently on their way back to Los Angeles, where they're expected to be reunited for a press junket along with Taylor Lautner. The handsome 20-year-old, who plays Jacob Black in vampire saga, the is currently in Rio de Janeiro heading up the South America part of the tour.
'Twihards' will no doubt be eager to see Kristen and Rob back together during their first public outing since getting back together, and will be looking for clues about the state of their relationship from their body language and way they interact with each other. However, their joint appearance at the press conference is yet to be confirmed, and it's possible film bosses will prefer their big reunion to take place at the LA premiere on November 12 – two days before the London unveiling will take place.
The couple have not been seen at a public event together since July, when their relationship was rocked amidst claims Kristen had been unfaithful with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Saunders. The film-maker is married to British model Liberty Ross, with whom he has two children - Skyla, seven, and Tennyson, five.
Compromising pictures of Kristen and Rupert surfaced and the actress then issued a public apology to her boyfriend. She said: "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
Kristen retreated from the spotlight for a while, but there was no such luxury for Rob, who hit the promotional trail for his David Kronenberg move Cosmopolis shortly after moving out of the couple's LA pad and spending time away at the California estate of his Water For Elephants co-star Reese Witherspoon.
Friends maintained the couple "couldn't live without each other", though, and after a series of tearful phone calls, they apparently met up and decided to give things another go.
