Looking as glamorous as ever, Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh talked music and marriage to chat show host Jonathan Ross on the latest installment of his ITV series. During her interview the Bradford-born singer was quizzed on her latest single as well as her love life and that of bandmate Cheryl Cole. Thirty-one-year-old Kimberley opened up about her relationship with long-term boyfriend Justin Scott, formerly a member of boyband Triple 8, but revealed the two have been too busy to think about marriage when she said "It's just something that we've not really got round to doing."

But Kimberley was not off the hook only talking about her own partner as Jonathan was keen to find out about that of fellow Girls Aloud member Cheryl. Speaking highly of the Geordie singer's love, Tre Holloway, Kimberley said she thought the couple could "go the distance." She silenced any critics by saying their relationship was "real" and that Cheryl has "known him for quite a long time. A few years, he danced for her the first time years and years ago." "He's a lovely guy so I'm happy that he makes her happy. I think it could definitely go the distance."

Discussion then turned to Kimberley's new single as well as her appearance on BBC show Strictly Come Dancing. One Day I'll Fly Away, Kimberley's first solo single, is due for release at the beginning of February and is a cover of Randy Crawford's 1980 classic that also featured in Hollywood blockbuster Moulin Rouge. The golden-haired beauty, who chose a cropped white top and chic black trousers for the TV appearance, stars in the tune's music video with her former dancing partner Pasha Kovalev.Kimberley was keen to use her dancing skills after her pairing with the Russian dancer meant the fancy-footed pair made it to the Strictly final, which was later won by Olympic gymnast Louis Smith.

Speaking about rumours of romance between this year's Strictly contestants Kimberley said they were ill-founded. "I think it was actually the first year that there's been no affairs backstage" she said. "I think everyone was really disappointed actually. It is a really intimate situation, you're spending six/seven hours a day and it's quite physical but yeah, nothing happened this year." Kimberley was joined on Jonathan's chat show by comic Jo Brand and Les Miserables star Eddie Redmayne
