The 24-year-old singer, who gave birth to her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki in October, recently explained the reasons behind keeping the baby's name a secret.
"I am not sharing his name at the moment. It is very personal to me. I am enjoying him on my own."
But it seems she might have let the cat out of the bag during a shopping trip in Los Angeles.
On Tuesday, the mum of one was spotted shopping in West Hollywood wearing a gold necklace bearing the name Angelo around her neck, fueling rumours that it might be her son's moniker.
The songstress went incognito during her outing to baby store Bel Bambini, wearing an all-black ensemble which she teamed with the simple gold necklace and black Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Hollywood star Jessica Alba organised a baby basket from her company Honest to send to Adele while she is staying in Los Angeles. But even her star power couldn't help her find out the baby's name.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Jessica organised a gift basket with baby creams, shampoo, luxury nappies, the sort of things Adele wouldn't want to traipse around LA looking for.
"But after phoning around all their mutual celebrity pals Jessica couldn't find out the baby's name. She had to send the gift tag blank."
Adele has been living in Los Angeles since attending the Golden Globes and will probably stay there until she attends the Academy Awards at the end of February.
The singer-songwriter has been put forward in the Best Original Song category for her 007 theme tune Skyfall.
After congratulations flooded in over Twitter when the nominations were announced, the 24-year-old thanked her fans. "Oh my god I feel like Meryl Streep!! Thank you x," she wrote.
