The couple went public with their romance last January, when the Latino singer posted a picture of him kissing the Venezuelan model followed by the caption: "To Shannon, my statue of liberty. Kisses baby!"
At the time, Marc's son Chase expressed his delight at welcoming her into their extended family.
His mother is the salsa king's former girlfriend, policewoman Debbie Rosado, and Marc adopted him during their relationship. They also had a daughter, Ariana.
Chase wrote on Twitter: "To all my followers and everybody on Twitter follow 2012's best couple and for many more years to come @MarcAnthony and @Shadelima !!!!!".
Marc found love again with Shannon De Lima six months after separating from his wife of seven years, Jennifer Lopez.
The former couple, who are parents to twins Max and Emme, announced their surprise split in June 2011."This was a very difficult decision," they said in a joint statement. "We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters."
"It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."
Jennifer also found love with 25-year-old dancer Casper Smart. The 43-year-old recently paid tribute to him explaining how Casper conquered her heart following her divorce from Marc.
"He's fantastic; he's like my best friend. I can tell him everything, when I'm feeling down, when I'm feeling good. He gives moral support, endless love and support," she said during the chat.
She also reflected on her work-life balance, walking the line between superstar and, quite simply, being mummy: "The worst is when I'm tired. It's the overworking, which I've learned to say no to. I'm not my best self. I'm at my best, I think, when I'm giving love. I feel my best, I am my best, I need my best," she added.
