Jennifer Lopez's twins Max and Emme, whose dad is Marc Anthony, turn five on Friday. And while their famous mother could have concocted any number of extravagant treats, she chose to celebrate with some home baking. The singer Tweeted images of the festive cupcakes she had organised for her little ones. "Happy Birthday Coconuts! 5 years of joy and true love!" she wrote in the caption.

Jennifer told fans she was on "mom duties" and said it was "best feeling ever". The star is making the most of home life after promoting her film Parker and winding up her bombastic world tour. The twin's birthday is the second celebration in Jennifer's family this month. She recently joined her ex-husband Marc Anthony to celebrate his son Cristian's 12th birthday, from his marriage to Dayanara Torres. Also at the house party were J Lo's boyfriend Casper Smart, and Marc's ex-girlfriend Shannon De Lima . The modern family looked delighted to be sharing the celebrations. "Happy Birthday Cristian!!! #houseparty #FAMILIA." J Lo wrote on Twitter.

Jennifer and Marc Anthony announced the "difficult decision" to end their seven-year marriage in July 2011. The couple have been determined to remain friends for the sake of Max and Emme. "He will always be in our lives," says J Lo. "He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children. You know, we respect each other". Last year, the couple worked together on Q'Viva! (The Chosen), a reality TV show which searched for the best singers and dancers in Latin America. "We're just meant to be in each other's lives in different levels," said Marc of their professional relationship.
