Alesha Dixon and Mel C were both on top form when they attended the Jog on To Cancer fundraiser on Wednesday night. The ladies led a host of celebrities who tuned out to support the charity bash, which was held at the Kensington Roof Gardens and was organised by showbiz columnist James Ingham. Alesha went hell for leather with her with her skintight trousers which showed off her lithe figure. The Britain's Got Talent judge completed her rock look with a billowing silk shirt, designer clutch and vertiginous T-bar heels.

The star's evening went down just as well as her outfit. She later congratulated the night's host on Twitter and told fans what a great time she had, writing: "Congratulations @JAMESINREHAB on an amazing night! You smashed it! Proud of you :) x". Earlier this week, TV presenter Alesha gained praise from fans after speaking out against prejudice in the showbiz industry. She said an opportunity "shouldn't be about the colour of the person's skin, it should be about the person." Former Spice Girl Mel C joined Alesha at Wednesday night's cancer fundraiser. She also looked stylish, baring her toned pins beneath her patterned dress which she wore with studded high-heeled boots. "Having a fabulous time supporting @JAMESINREHAB Jog on to Cancer @CR_UK ha ha!!!" she wrote on Twitter.

Other stars attending included singers Lemar and Simon Webbe. X Factor's most recent boy band Union J – who are George, Josh, Jaymi and JJ – were mobbed by fans as they made their way into the exclusive venue. The quartet are tipped to emulate the success of One Direction.
