In the teen world of social media, it's a big step. Hours after enjoying a cosy dinner date with Harry Styles, Kendall Jenner started following the One Direction pin-up on Instagram.
The move has further fuelled speculation that romance could be on the cards for the young couple.
Earlier this week, Harry, 19, and Kendall, 18, were photographed trying to make a discreet exit from Craig's Restaurant in Hollywood. The pair quickly jumped into Harry's car and drove off — but it wasn't long before their dinner date was making headline news.
It's little wonder there is such a buzz surrounding the rendezvous. Harry is the world's hottest boy band bachelor, while Kendall is the new princess of reality TV.
The British pop star has only been in the States for a couple of days — he and his One Direction band mates landed in Los Angeles on Tuesday night to promote their new album Midnight Memories. And he is already the talk of the town.
Speaking about his highly-publicised love life on the Jonathan Ross Show last weekend, Harry explained what he looks for in a girlfriend.

"I think you know when you find someone, I guess. I think, just someone who is nice," he said.
The chat show host then asked the singer about his past romances with Taylor Swift and Cara Delevingne, but Harry simply stated that he is "friends with them".
The star also confirmed rumours that he had started ballet lessons, but revealed he had "started doing yoga instead", because of his bad back and because one of his legs is shorter than than the other.
When the other boys laughed at him, saying he had blamed it on his paper round, he insisted, "I had a really big paper round!"
