Tom Hardy has hinted that he secretly tied the knot with his partner of six years Charlotte Riley.
Speaking to US Weekly 36-year-old Tom referred to Charlotte as his wife, prompting rumours that the couple said 'I do' in a secret ceremony.
When asked about how supportive 31-year-old Charlotte is about his career Tom replied "Well my wife is an actor as well, so she sort of gets it."

The Dark Knight Rises star later corrected his earlier claim, however, by referring to himself as Charlotte's boyfriend.
"I'm a pain in the ass really," he jokingly said. "You know what I mean? Like any other boyfriend. Isn't that part of being in a relationship?"

Representatives for the couple, who have been engaged since 2010, have neither confirmed nor denied the marriage rumours as Tom continued to praise Durham-born Charlotte.
"She's pure," he said. "She's just a very kind, pure person."

Hammersmith-born Tom, who has a son Louis from a previous marriage, recently opened up about how what saved him from his drink and drug addictions.
"My personal journey to becoming an actor was one of desperation," he revealed. "Like, 'This boy has to do something or he'll end up in jail'"
"I had no idea how to handle the industry," added Tom, who battled addiction during his twenties. "How to interact with producers, executive producers, studios… I was 24 – punching above my weight.
"And it’s taken being someone’s dad, being divorced, going to rehab, having mortgages, playing different characters, doing theatre, waiting and then it not happening. And then doing rather well at something, enjoying my character work, but it not being a huge amount of money."
