American rock legend Chrissie Hynde is the latest celebrity to join the lineup at this year’s prestigious Butterfly Ball in May, hosted by national charity Caudwell Children.
The former The Pretenders singer will be joined by the band’s guitarist James Wallbourne, for their only live UK performance of the year. Together, they will perform three acoustic tracks for guests.
The evening will be hosted by Peter Andre, who welcomed baby daughter Amelia with his girlfriend Emily MacDonagh in January.
The gorgeous Kylie Minogue will be headlining the event, performing for the 1000 guests.
"I’m delighted to be a part of this fantastic event which does so much to help disabled children in the UK," said the pop Princess, who will also be followed by English tenor Alfie Boe.
"It is amazing news that Chrissie and James are available to attend the Butterfly ball and perform some of the band’s biggest hits," said Charity Chief Executive, Trudi Beswick. “We are so grateful to them for their support on what is the biggest night of the year for Caudwell Children”.
The Butterfly Ball raises millions to provide practical and emotional support for disabled children living in the UK.
This year's Butterfly Ball takes place on May 15th in The Great Room at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. For details about this and the charity, visit caudwellchildren.com or for table enquiries call 01782 600112.
