Newly single Cressida Bonas continues to mingle in royal circles

While Cressida Bonas and Prince Harry called time on their relationship in April, there's nothing to stop the former dance student from continuing to mingle in royal circles. The 24-year-old was seen warmly embracing her friend Princess Eugenie at the Art Antiques London Gala Evening in the Park in Kensington Gardens on Tuesday.

She also chatted to Eugenie's mum - Sarah, Duchess of York - at the event in aid of the charity Children in Crisis.

Cressida and Eugenie are old friends – it was the young royal who first introduced Cressida to her cousin Harry.

Newly single Cressida opted for a stunning, and rather revealing, black-and-silver one piece for the evening. The bold fashion choice is perhaps a sign that she feels free to take style risks now she's no longer in the spotlight as the other half of Britain's eligible Prince.

The fledgling actress – Cressida just landed her first big screen role – shone at the charity event, with her blonde locks falling loose over her uncovered back. A black clutch and sparkling silver heels completed the sassy look.

At the time of Cressida and Harry's break-up, it was reported that the pretty blonde wanted to focus on her own career.

Since their split, she has been performing at the How The Light Gets In Festival of Philosophy and Music, a spin-off of the Hay Festival — an arts and literature event in Hay-on-Wye, Wales. This month she added another string to her professional bow when she won a role in Tulip Fever. Cressida will star alongside Glee's Matthew Morrison, Dame Judi Dench, and Christoph Waltz, as well as fellow rising stars, Dane DeHaan (from The Amazing Spiderman 2) and Jack O'Connell (who will be seen in Angelina Jolie's upcoming Unbroken).
