Lily Allen silences rumours of marriage trouble with snap of wedding ring
Lily Allen has hit back at critics who have suggested that her marriage is in trouble by posting a snap on Instagram of her wedding band.

Captioning the image with a row of emoticons, Lily will be hoping that the picture will silence the latest rumours.

The 29-year-old, who has been on tour with Miley Cyrus in the United States, has been married to Sam Cooper since 2011.

In recent weeks she has been spotted with her former flame and good friend Seb Chew, without her rings. She has also been performing without wearing them.

However the Smile singer recently revealed her love for Sam, on Australian TV.

"I still don’t feel worthy of my husband. He’s an amazing person. I am very lucky to even have contact with someone like that never mind be married to them and have children," she said.

Her latest video for single As Long As I've Got You was also filmed at Glastonbury Festival this June - which was where she first met Sam five years ago.

"It’s a song about my contentment about my relationship with my husband and the fact that I’ve got children," she told Richard Wilkins on Channel 9’s Today show.

Lily, who has lost 42lbs this year, recently told Australian radio station 2Day FM that her weight loss was down to too many crisps.

"I just eat a lot of crisps, I'm not really eating a lot of proper meals", Lily told hosts Sophie Monk and Merrick Watts.
