Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp have reportedly rekindled their romance, according to a new source.
The You've Got Mail actress and her rocker boyfriend split in late August after three and a half years together, but it looks like a reunion is back on the cards.
The speculation was fuelled even more when Meg, 52, and John, 63, were spotted enjoying a stroll together in Manhattan's SoHo neighbourhood last week.

Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp started dating soon after the musician's divorce in 2010
"They are back together and it's brand new," an insider told People. "They're really happy about it."
Distance was said to be the reason for the couple's break-up, as Meg lives in the Big Apple while her musician beau resides in Indiana. The Jack & Diane singer, however, hinted that he and his Hollywood girlfriend may one day reconcile.
"Nothing's over," said John, when asked by Associated Press of a possible reunion. "I never say 'die' for anything. Do you ever quit on anything?"
"I'm very happy with the time I've spent with Meg Ryan," he added. "She's a beautiful girl, and I know that I will never, ever, ever be with a funnier girl than her. Not gonna happen. I'm grateful for the three and a half years we've been together."
John Mellencamp had hinted that a reunion with 'angel' Meg could happen
John, who has previously called Meg "an angel" that was sent to him, was said to be uncomfortable being in a relationship with someone in the limelight.
The pair started dating almost immediately after John announced his divorce from his ex-wife model Elaine Irwin in December 2010. The rocker and his former partner have two sons together, with John also fathering three other children from his previous two marriages.
Meg, meanwhile, is mother to 22-year-old son Jack from her actor husband of ten years Dennis Quaid. She also adopted a baby from China in 2006, who she named Daisy True and is now ten years old.
