Jacqueline Jossa plans to return to EastEnders set after birth

Jacqueline Jossa has spoken of her plans to return to the EastEnders set after giving birth.The 22-year-old actress also revealed that she doesn't know what will happen to her onscreen character when she takes time off to have her baby.

Speaking to MailOnline at London's Soho Sanctum Hotel on Tuesday evening, the pretty brunette said: "I am going to have to leave at some point to give birth, but I don't really know what will happen with my storyline. They're keeping it a secret from even me because it is that tight.

"I don't have a clue either but I know I will be coming back. I read somewhere I was taking a year out which isn't true. I definitely want to go back."

The mum-to-be, who is expecting her first child with her partner The Only Way Is Essex star Dan Osborne, showed off her blossoming baby bump at Bootea's Shake Party as the couple stepped out to celebrate.

Jacqueline was positively glowing at the event, dressed in a fitted black dress and matching strappy sandals and wearing natural make-up. Her other half looked as dapper as ever in an open white shirt and suit.

The handsome couple revealed they were expecting their first child together in August, releasing a joint statement saying that they were "thrilled by our news".

TOWIE star Dan – who welcomed son Teddy in December with ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin – added, "Becoming a father has been the most amazing thing to ever happen to me. I can't believe I'm going to be a dad again – I'm truly blessed."

Jacqueline, who is expecting her baby in early 2015, has been keeping fans updated with her pregnancy progress.

She recently shared her baby scan with her hundreds of thousands of followers.

"Can't wait to meet this little one," the actress captioned the picture, with fans eagerly adding their comments of support.
