Some big names turned out to show their support for Sean Penn's fourth annual Help Haiti Home Gala in LA, including his actress girlfriend Charlize Theron. The Hollywood couple walked the red carpet hand-in-hand as they arrived for the star-studded event - but Sean tried to remain coy when he was quizzed about their romance. The actor was asked by Extra's Jerry Penacoli whether it was true he had proposed to Charlize over the holidays. "I can't even say things out loud," Sean replied. "I just hate looking at people on television talking about their relationships."

I can't imagine why!"
She and I have been very, very long-time friends. We hit a speed bump and must have lost our minds, so here we are," he said.Sean and Charlize made their first public appearance together as a couple at his Haiti gala last year.

I really respect that he's stayed with it these years," Salma told reporters ahead of the event. "Whenever there's a disaster, it takes a long time to rebuild.
He was the first one there. And he stayed with a level of such passion."
