Stephen Fry and Elliott Spencer married in the Norfolk town of Dereham on Saturday afternoon. The author and TV presenter tweeted the happy news shortly after the occasion, alongside a photo of the couple.

"Gosh. @ElliottGSpencer and I go into a room as two people, sign a book and leave as one. Amazing," he wrote.
Comedian Elliott, 27, was quick to retweet 57-year-old Stephen's post, which has already prompted thousands of responses and messages of congratulations from fans.
Stephen announced his plans to marry Elliott at the beginning of the month.
"Oh. It looks as though a certain cat is out of a certain bag," he tweeted. "I'm very very happy of course but had hoped for a private wedding. Fat chance!
"Thank you all SO much for your kind congratulations," he added. "Deeply touched xxx."

Speaking to the Mirror, a friend of Stephen's spoke about how happy he is with Elliott.
"Stephen and Elliott get on brilliantly together," they said. "It's fantastic to see Stephen with a smile on his face again. He has been very, very open about his battles with drugs and depression.
"Elliott seems to have given him the confidence to life his life again. It's great to have the old Stephen back."
