Chloe, Cara and Poppy Delevingne have brought a smile back to their father's face

The beauties stood protectively around him at the 'YSL Loves Your Lips' party. It's clear where the girls get their style as Charles, a property developer, was looking very much the silver fox in a smart suit and overcoat and wasn't at all fazed by the glamour. His panache is in turn a legacy from his mother Angela , who died earlier this month, aged 102.  Soon afterwards Cara paid tribute with an Instagram collage of her beloved 'Gaga', showing her both as fashionable young woman and in the last years of her life.

The Delevingne sisters have inherited their panache from their father and grandmother

The 22-year-old supermodel described her as "the kindest, most intelligent and wickedly funny human I have ever had the pleasure of knowing". Cara also praised her grandmother's eyebrows which she has obviously inherited and which are partly responsible for her stellar career.

Poppy, who models for brands like Chanel, Julien Macdonald and Matthew Williamson, posted her own tribute, saying the "stars seem so much brighter now".The family are famously closeknit. Last year they turned out in force for two weddings – the first was Chloe's to property broker Ed Grant and the second was Poppy's to James Cook, featured exclusively in HELLO!
