Nicole Scherzinger has split from Lewis Hamilton, making it the fourth time that the couple have parted ways during their on-off seven-year romance. The 36-year-old singer has reportedly brought her relationship with the Formula One champion to a close due to the pressures of a long-distance relationship, as well as their differing views on marriage. According to the Sun, Nicole finally realised that Lewis does not want to get married, and therefore ended their relationship. She is said to be "heartbroken and devastated".
Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton have split for the fourth time
Former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole - who is currently starring in the West End revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, Cats, in London - primarily resides in Los Angeles, while Lewis is based in Monaco. A source said that calling time "was a mutual decision". The long distance kept them apart for long periods of time. They told MailOnline: "They both spent most of their time alone because they were in different countries all the time. Nicole is heartbroken and devastated." Since the recent split, Nicole has been supported by her family, with her mother Rosemary and elderly grandmother flying to London from Hawaii to be by her side.

The talented former X Factor judge is now said to be focusing on her last few days in Cats, before heading back to Los Angeles next week. The friend added to MailOnline: "Nicole was really lifted by her family's visit. It was the first time her grandmother had been to visit her in London, and it couldn't have come at a better time. "She's been throwing herself into work for the past few weeks and it's been a real tonic. They both care about each other deeply, and really wanted this to work out."
