Legendary crooner Tony Bennett has revealed that he will perform at Lady Gaga's wedding to Taylor Kinney. The 88-year-old, who recently collaborated with Gaga on an album, said he was thrilled about her impending nuptials.

"She's marrying a very wonderful man, very talented and very handsome," Tony told The New York Post's Page Six. "I think he's going to be highly successful in films. He's a very nice person."

While they reportedly haven't set a date, Lady Gaga and her fiancé have at least got the entertainment sorted.

"They invited me to do it and, of course I will," Tony revealed.

The entertainer revealed he didn't know any details about the nuptials, and said: "All I know is, knowing Lady Gaga, it will be fabulous."

Tony and Lady Gaga released the Grammy-winning album Cheek to Cheek together in 2014. The singers have struck up an unlikely friendship, and Gaga previously said that the musician saved her life.

"I was so sad. I couldn't sleep. I felt dead," she told Parade magazine. "And then I spent a lot of time with Tony. He wanted nothing but my friendship and my voice… The other day, Tony said, 'I've never once in my career not wanted to do this.' It stung. Six months ago I didn't feel that way. I tell Tony every day that he saved my life."

Lady Gaga has since enjoyed a complete reverse of fortunes in recent months, and has never seemed happier since getting engaged to Taylor on Valentine's Day.

"He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day, and I said YES!" she told her Instagram followers when she announced the happy news.

The 28-year-old has since been praised for her tribute to The Sound of Music at the 2015 Oscars, including plaudits from Julie Andrews herself, who said "she hit it out of the ballpark."
