Due to his intense work commitments, Gregg Wallace has had to find a new date for his forthcoming wedding. The Masterchef presenter, who got engaged for the fourth time in October 2014, has revealed that he and his fiancée Anne-Marie Sterpini are now looking to tie the knot next year.

"I'm really busy filming this year and couldn't commit to a date because we want some time off to have a honeymoon," Gregg told the Sun. "It'll be next year now and both Anne-Marie and me are looking forward to it."

A friend of Gregg's also spoke to the publication, saying: "He may have been a bit hasty when they were newly engaged and he's now realised next year is much more realistic."

Gregg's busy work schedule means he has had to postpone his wedding

At the time his engagement to 28-year-old caterer Anne-Marie was announced, 50-year-old Gregg was full of plans for their nuptials.

"Next year is all about the wedding," Gregg told the Mirror. "I've got the venue, I've got the pianist and I've got the girl."

Several months later, speaking in an exclusive interview with HELLO! magazine, Gregg revealed that the couple first made contact when Anne-Marie, who is known as Anna, tweeted him to ask if rhubarb went with duck.

"I just looked at Anna's photo and thought, 'Wow, she's pretty'," he told HELLO!. "So yes, rhubarb, which was considered an aphrodisiac in medieval times, brought us together."

Gregg and Anne-Marie first crossed path on Twitter

When Gregg and Anne-Marie do wed, it will be the fourth time the former greengrocer has walked down the aisle.

The London-born TV presenter was first married to Christine in 1991, although the couple split after six weeks.

In 1999 he tied the knot with former pastry chef Denise and the pair were married for five years before divorcing in 2004. Gregg and Denise have two children together, Tom and Libby, of whom Gregg reportedly has full custody.

Gregg met his third wife, former biology teacher Heidi Brown, on Twitter in 2010. The duo were together for 18 months.
