Paul Gascoigne has spoken in a rare TV interview about his struggles overcoming alcohol addiction and how he is today. The football legend told Good Morning Britain presenter Ben Shephard: "I just want to carry on enjoying myself and staying sober, my life is good… Today I love myself, I have to say that. "The sporting icon spoke about a film being made about his life. On who will play him, he laughed, "good luck!" before adding, "I was going to ask Jack Nicholson because I saw him in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest!"

I've just been on top of everything and just trying to relax and enjoy myself as much as I can. "Earlier this week, Paul looked his best in a long while as he launched his new documentary in Brixton's Ritzy Cinema in London.
