Kourtney Kardashian can always count on her family for support following her split from Scott Disick. Kris Jenner has described her eldest daughter as her "hero" following Kourtney's difficult decision to end her nine-year-relationship in July.
"She's kind of my hero right now - she makes good decisions," Kris told Haute Living New York magazine. "She always puts her children first and is accepting, loving, and dedicated to her family - she doesn't get easily ruffled."
She added: "This situation has made me realise how strong she is."
Kris Jenner said daughter Kourtney is her hero
Kourtney called time on her relationship with Scott over the Fourth of July weekend after photos emerged of him looking close with celebrity stylist Chloe Bartoli.
The 36-year-old, who shares children Mason, five, Penelope, three, and eight-month-old Reign with her ex, appears to have taken the split in her stride. She has been enjoying spending quality time with her friends and family, including joining younger sister Kylie Jenner's 18th birthday celebrations on Sunday.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is still letting Scott share the parenting duties so he can maintain a close relationship with their three children.

On one such occasion the proud dad couldn't resist sharing a cute video of Mason and Penelope dancing around in his car, telling fans it was the "best thing ever". The clip, which he shared with fans on Instagram, featured the youngsters showing off their dance moves to Demi Lovato's new single Cool For The Summer.
Despite the break-up, Kourtney has reportedly not made "a final decision" about her future with Scott, leading some to suggest that a reconciliation could be on the cards.
"Scott is not totally out of the picture," a source told People. "She hasn't made a final decision. Right now, she's just living day to day. She's not begging him to see the kids, but she also hasn't definitively said, 'I'm never letting him back again.'"
