Kourtney Kardashian is making the most of the final weeks of summer, sharing a series of stunning vacation photos as she escaped with husband Travis Barker and their blended family.
The 47-year-old Kardashians star took to Instagram over the weekend with a glimpse inside the family's picturesque desert getaway, simply captioning the carousel: "Big family vacation girl."
And while the breathtaking red-rock landscape provided quite the backdrop, it was Kourtney's metallic silver bikini that stole the show.
In one striking photograph, the mom-of-four stood with her back to the camera in the tiny thong two-piece, stretching her arms above her head as she took in the dramatic scenery.
Another image saw Kourtney reclining on a boat in the same shimmering swimsuit, accessorizing with black rectangular sunglasses and layered cross necklaces as she soaked up the sunshine.
The silver bikini is from sister Kylie Jenner's Khy collaboration with Frankies Bikinis, while elsewhere on the vacation Kourtney changed into a leopard-print two-piece. The family spent their getaway exploring Utah and northern Arizona, with hiking, boating and lake tubing among their activities.
A third image offered a glimpse of the family's luxurious accommodation, with Kourtney's silhouette reflected in a glass door against the spectacular mountains beyond.
The post quickly received some love from her famous family, with mom Kris Jenner responding with heart-eye emojis and sister Khloé Kardashian adding a string of red hearts.
Kourtney Kardashian's body confidence
Kourtney's confident vacation photographs come after the star has spoken candidly about learning to embrace her changing body following the birth of her youngest child, Rocky, in November 2023.
Just months after welcoming her son, Kourtney shared an empowering message with other new mothers about the pressure women face to quickly return to their pre-pregnancy shape.
"Your body is beautiful at all stages," she wrote at the time, adding that she was trying to be kind to herself as her body found "a new normal."
She went on to say that the expectation placed on women to "bounce back" after having a baby was unrealistic, concluding: "Life is beautiful, you are beautiful."
The following year, Kourtney revealed that her priorities around fitness had also changed, telling Women's Health that she was more interested in "having energy and feeling my best" than looking a particular way.
Kourtney and Travis' blended family
The trip was very much a family affair for Kourtney and Travis, who have brought together their children from previous relationships as well as their two-year-old son Rocky.
Kourtney shares Mason, 16, Penelope, 14, and Reign, 11, with former partner Scott Disick, while Blink-182 drummer Travis is dad to Landon, 22, and Alabama, 20, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. He also helped raise Shanna's daughter Atiana De La Hoya, 27.
Kourtney and Travis, 50, began dating in 2021 after years of friendship and tied the knot the following year, celebrating with a lavish wedding in Portofino, Italy.
Their arrival of Rocky in 2023 was particularly poignant following the couple's difficult journey to expand their family.
In Travis' documentary Louder Than Fear, the couple revealed that Kourtney had become pregnant with a baby girl early in their relationship. They planned to call their daughter Tulip, but learned during a scan that she no longer had a heartbeat.
"When we lost the baby, we were devastated," Kourtney recalled. The couple subsequently underwent several unsuccessful rounds of IVF before Kourtney conceived Rocky naturally. She later experienced a serious complication during the pregnancy that required urgent fetal surgery, something she has previously said left her feeling particularly grateful for her youngest child.
Travis has been equally open about how much family life means to him. On Mother's Day, the musician paid tribute to his wife with the touching words: "Mama, we love you more than words could ever say. Happy Mother's Day."
