Megan Fox has reportedly separated from her husband Brian Austin Green after an 11-year relationship. The couple, who tied the knot in 2010, are said to have decided to go their separate ways six months ago.

A source told Us Weekly: "Megan has separated from Brian. They decided on it six months ago."

While the cause of their break-up is not yet known, another source close to the couple said that "things have been rocky" between them for a while. The pair, who are parents to two-year-old Noah and 18-month-old Bodhi, have not been pictured together since 9 June when they were seen eating lunch together in Beverly Hills.

It is reported that Megan's busy film career has been a factor in their split, with the actress spending the summer away from home filming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 while Brian looks after their sons.

"They fight about her career," a source told the magazine. "She was obsessed with getting roles. She has gone off and done her own thing recently."

Megan and Brian first began dating in 2004 after meeting on the set of series Hope and Faith. The actress, who was 18 at the time, said she felt an instant attraction to Brian and the pair soon became an item.

Despite getting engaged in 2006, the pair called off their engagement in 2009 with Brian saying: "Marriage isn't a realistic goal for someone who is 23."

The couple rekindled their relationship and Brian proposed again in June 2010, with the pair getting wed just 24 days later. "I've never been more sure of anything in my life," Brian said after their wedding. "It was the absolute perfect start to what we hope will be an amazing life together."

Megan was similarly outspoken of their love, telling the Daily Mail in October 2014: "I love our family – I have a little football team that's going to take care of me."
