Mel B's daughter Phoenix looks all grown up at New York Fashion Week

Mel B spiced up her life by letting her little girl Phoenix accompany her to New York Fashion Week – only she's no longer so little. Now 16, she looked the epitome of grown up glam in a black dress and heels apparently pilfered from her mother's wardrobe.

The charismatic TV judge posted two pictures of mum and daughter preparations for their night out joking in one caption: "I have no words apart from take off my shoes and dress NOW". She also mused to followers: "Where did my baby girl go?"

Phoenix, whose father is dancer Jimmy Gulzar, is the eldest of Mel's three girls. Speaking exclusively to HELLO! in an interview last year, her mother described her as "my soulmate... incredible, sporty and calm", adding with pride that the teenager is in the top team for basketball at her school.

The former Spice Girl has two more children Angel, from her relationship with Eddie Murphy, and Madison with her husband Stephen Belafonte.

When the couple's marriage hit the headlines for two months during her appearance on the X Factor, they closed ranks to show that they are more united than ever, with Mel posting pictures of them enjoying a happy Christmas celebration together.

Despite the privileged jetsetting lifestyle that Mel's hard work has given the family, their children are incredibly down-to-earth.

She said: "I’m really strict on manners – there are no phones or iPads at the table when we eat – and they all have to do jobs around the house and keep their rooms tidy."

The family may expand as the bubbly Leeds lass is keen to have another child, although she and Stephen are unclear with that will be through adoption or Mel having another baby herself.
