The Golden Globes provided a night of highs and emotion. Here is our pick of the best pictures.

Denzel Washington gave everyone a 'goals' moment when he brought his gorgeous family on stage to receive the Cecil B DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award.

He was accompanied by wife Pauletta and children John David (31), Katia (28), and Olivia (24). Another son Malcolm (24) couldn't be there because he was finishing a thesis.

Touchingly, the star struggled to read his speech without his glasses.
