Matt LeBlanc responds to romance claims after he is seen kissing Courteney Cox

Matt LeBlanc and Courteney Cox really are just good friends. The two stars sent the rumour mill into overdrive when they were spotted sharing a kiss on Sunday night, after attending a special reunion show for James Burrows at Sunset Towers in LA.

But a spokesperson for 48-year-old Matt has told Gossip Cop that the pair are not romantically involved, confirming that the kiss was just a friendly peck.

Matt LeBlanc has denied reports of a romance with Courteney Cox

It's not the first time that Courteney, 51, has been linked to a co-star; just last month she was rumoured to be dating her on-screen husband Matthew Perry when they were spotted having lunch together, but the claims were quickly denied.

Courteney split from her fiancé Johnny McDaid in November after a year and a half together. The couple, who were introduced by mutual friend Ed Sheeran, decided to call off their wedding, although they had fought hard to save their relationship.

TMZ reported that 39-year-old Johnny had packed up his bags and moved out of Courteney's home in Los Angeles shortly before Thanksgiving. The website went on to say that Courteney and Johnny differed on their lifestyle choices, and that while the actress liked to go out, her fiancé was more private and preferred to stay out of the limelight.

Prior to her romance with the Snow Patrol musician, Courteney was married to actor David Arquette for 14 years, before they decided to split in 2013. The former couple are parents to 11-year-old daughter Coco.

Matt most recently dated his former Joey co-star, Andrea Anders

Matt, meanwhile, was married to Melissa McKnight from 2003 to 2006; their daughter Marina was born in 2004. He then dated his Joey co-star Andrea Anders for eight years until their split late last year.
