Mark and his family celebrate the New Lunar Year with a sweet video
"Happy Lunar New Year from Priscilla, Max and me!" he wrote in the accompanying caption. "In the Year of the Monkey, I hope you and all your loved ones find happiness, health and good fortune."
In the short video, the American entrepreneur and his wife explained how they would be celebrating the special night, revealing they were particularly excited for their "first Lunar Year with Max".
"To celebrate the New Year, members of our family gathered to enjoy a reunion dinner last night," Priscilla explained. Meanwhile, Mark revealed he had hosted a party at the Facebook offices where famous chefs from China were invited to represent a wide variety of different cuisines. "My favourite was duck!" he said.
This year marks Facebook's 12th anniversary
Mark and Priscilla also took the opportunity to reveal the Chinese name they have chosen for their adorable little girl, who sat nestled between them in a sweet red outfit.
"This is also a meaningful holiday for Max because we have chosen her Chinese name," Mark explained. "Her name is Chen Mingyu. Chen after her mother's family name, and Mingyu represents our hope for a brighter tomorrow for the world."
He then played with his daughter and jokingly cooed at her, "You think my Chinese is bad?" This year marks the 12th anniversary of Facebook, and while Mark is embracing fatherhood, his own father Edward had some touching words in a sweet comment posted to his son on the site.
"As a parent it gives me tremendous pride knowing you have changed the world for the better," he wrote. "And I can't wait to see what your baby will continually evolve to over time!"
