Mark Wright: 'Michelle has made me transition from a boy to a man'

Mark Wright was once known for his wild partying ways but now the TV presenter has said that he’s put that part of his life behind him, and he's got his wife Michelle Keegan is to thank.

"Now I love sitting at home. I used to be such a going-out person, but I’ve noticed a transition in the last four years, going from a boy to a man. I’ve really noticed my changes and my outlook on life," the 29-year-old told the Daily Mirror.

Mark first appeared in the public eye on the reality TV show The Only Way Is Essex, where his volatile love life was played out in front of the cameras. Now, however, he prefers to keep his relationship behind closed doors. "I want to get credit for getting a prime-time high-rating TV show without it being because I’m with Michelle," he said, adding that working together would be "too much."

Following their lavish wedding in May last year, the Take Me Out: The Gossip presenter has admitted that his family have started to put pressure on him and his wife to have children. Talking on the panel show Loose Women, the star said, "It’s hard work with the pressure of having babies.

"My mum is on our case. ‘Hurry up and make it happen. I want to be a nan,’ [she says.] I think we’ve got another year or two of her nagging and we’ll just have to do it."

For now the couple are focusing on their individual work projects. At the moment Michelle is in South Africa filming BBC drama Our Girl. Despite his busy schedule, Mark is planning on visiting his wife as much as possible.
