He and Gwen Stefani split last year after 13 years of marriage, and Gavin Rossdale is clearly putting their three children first as they both move on. The 50-year-old was pictured this weekend taking part in an Easter egg hunt with their boys – Kingston, nine, Zuma, seven, and two-year-old Apollo – while former No Doubt singer Gwen, 46, promoted her latest album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like, in Japan.

Gavin Rossdale took his and Gwen Stefani's sons to an Easter egg hunt in LA this weekend

Doting dad Gavin was snapped going down a slide with Apollo, who looked adorable with a red bandanna around his neck. Apollo’s older brothers Kingston and Zuma wore matching black slogan T-shirts, which read: 'Beautiful disaster'.

Gavin, who looked casual in jeans and a grey hooded jacket, happily posed for pictures with his three sons at the event, which was hosted by clothing brand Akid. Also in attendance were former Glee actress Naya Rivera, husband Ryan Dorsey and their six-month-old son Josey.

The family outing comes after Gwen confessed she wished she could reveal the full story behind their break-up, insisting fans would be shocked by the truth.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton confirmed their relationship in November last year

Speaking to The New York Times, the Don’t Speak singer said: "If I could, I would tell you everything, and you would just be in shock. My life was literally blown up into my face. I was literally so sheltered and so naïve, and that’s a lot why I think I’ve got myself into so much trouble, in a way."

Although Gwen has since gone public with her new boyfriend, fellow The Voice USA coach Blake Shelton, she admitted the divorce is still affecting her.

She added: "I’m not going to say I’m not still picking up the pieces and every day isn’t a challenge. I’m still in shock. But it’s an awesome time."
