As a member of the biggest boy band in the world, overexcited fans comes with the territory for Niall Horan. But the usually chilled out Irishman was recently angered when a supporter took a photo of him – while he was asleep on a plane.
The fan posted the photo online and revealed that 23-year-old Niall had denied her request for a selfie because he wasn't feeling well, but that didn't stop her from invading his privacy.
Niall Horan tweeted his fury over this picture of him sleeping on a plane
Alongside the slightly creepy photo of Niall snoozing, she wrote: "And to sum up the PERFECT European adventure, I sat directly next to Niall from One Direction for 9 hours on my flight from London last night.
"He was sick and asked for no selfies, but here is a pic I snapped when he was sleeping lol he was so friendly! Talked about Ireland, LSE, lolla and more. Not a British Duke… but an Irish popstar will do. Thanks for treating me so well Europe."
A furious Niall later came across the photo online and shared his thoughts on Twitter. He posted a screengrab of the invasive snap, and added: "If you can't sleep on a plane without people taking photos of you, what can you do?"
He previously opened up about "abusive" fans on Twitter
In May Niall took to Twitter to reveal he was being cyber-bullied by a group of "fans", and even confessed their messages were keeping him awake at night.
He wrote: "For the last two weeks I have been receiving messages off a group of fans, they have drowned my phone in messages, keeping me awake at night. But the worst part it, they have been nothing but abusive. Saying things you wouldn't even believe about me and my family, and saying the worst things ever about my little nephew.
"I just think it's crazy how we let people get away with things like this. And the sad thing is, as I tweet this they are in a group chat laughing at me."
