David Beckham pokes fun at himself and Victoria on Instagram

David Beckham showed off his sense of humour – and his handsome looks – during a family outing to Madame Tussauds last week.

The sporting hero came face-to-face with wax figures of himself and his wife Victoria and grabbed the opportunity to take a funny selfie.

Joking about how much he's changed, David wrote on Instagram: "Thank you to Nicole and everyone at Madame Tussauds for letting me meet this lovely couple and showing the kids around... (slightly hairier) myself not my wife."

The wax figures of David, 41, and Victoria, 42, have been displayed in the London museum since 2014. They replaced older versions of the couple that were first placed in the attraction in 2004.

The retired football player has been enjoying some downtime with his children while his wife Victoria has been on a UN Aids Global mission in Kenya.

David recently shared a video from his day out in the country with Guy, giving fans a glimpse at their epic outdoor barbeque. The pair built a giant caged wood fire and David bravely stepped inside the ring of smoke.

Victoria, meanwhile, has been on a humanitarian mission in Kenya

Victoria has spent the past few days in Kenya where she was joined by the couple's eldest son Brooklyn, 17. She cracked a rare smile onboard her flight home, thanking the airline for supporting her mission.

Victoria encouraged locals to get tested for HIV and get treatment, writing: "NO STIGMA!" She added: "Please help eliminate mother to child transmission of HIV in Kenya."

She brought her eldest son Brooklyn on the trip

Both David and Victoria have been helping their son Brooklyn get over his heartbreak. The teenager recently split from his on-off American girlfriend Chloe Moretz in September, having spent the majority of summer with her in LA.

David took his son to Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds gig in London last month, followed by an afterparty at Tramp nightclub.
