One thoughtful father just earned himself the title, dad of the year! Despite being onboard a cross-country fight from Boston to San Francisco, a doting dad took it upon himself to make Halloween special for his young daughter, named Molly, who wanted to go trick-or-treating on Monday.

The dad passed out candy to the plane’s passengers, along with a note detailing his Halloween plan for his little girl. The note read: "Happy Halloween! My 3-year-old daughter, Molly, was bummed that she wouldn’t be able to go trick-or-treating this year due to this flight… so I decided to bring trick-or-treating to her.”

One of the flight’s passengers, Stephanie Kahan, took to her Twitter account to share a photo of the candy and note, along with a photo of Molly trick-or-treating in her donut costume inside the plane's cabin.

Attached to the photos, she wrote, "OMG, my heart is exploding right now. Dad of the year just passed out candy to everyone on the flight so his 3 year old could trick or treat."

The adorable, trick-or-treater’s costume resembles those of Jenna Bush Hager’s daughters, Mila and Poppy. The Today show correspondent posted a sweet family photo on Instagram of her little girls dressed up as adorable sprinkle donuts for the holiday. The mom-of-two captioned the picture, Who doesn't love a [donut emoji]?? Happy Halloween!!"
